The door is still open to drilling off Georgia's shores, where an oil spill would threaten endangered sea turtles and right whales. We're calling on the administration to restore the moratorium on drilling along the Atlantic Coast.

Georgia's hiking trails give us a gateway to undisturbed wilderness. Unfortunately, parts of these trails, and much of the wild areas they display, are privately owned and lack long-term protections. Environment Georgia is calling on our senators to protect this stunning scenery.

The environmental costs of our oil dependence are out of control — from the accidents and oil spills, to smog, to climate change. It's time to set this country on a path to getting off oil for good. We can get there by convincing our leaders to make new investments in fuel-efficient cars, new technology, and a first-class system of public transportation.

Short-sighted legal decisions have left thousands of miles of Georgia's streams and hundreds of acres of wetlands vulnerable to pollution and development. Now, polluters’ allies in Congress are trying to block the EPA from restoring vital safeguards. To protect Georgia's rivers, we need to show massive public support for clean water.
