Building a Better Future for Atlanta

In less than one week, the Atlanta city council will be voting on a sustainable building ordinance that would put Atlanta on track to incorporate common-sense building practices into our base line building code for commercial buildings and residential buildings over three stories high.

Please sign our petition on the right demanding the Atlanta city council pass a strong sustainable buildings ordinance.

Dear council member,

We waste too much energy and water in our buildings, which hurts our rivers and leads to air and climate change pollution.

The Atlanta Sustainable Building Ordinance would make Atlanta a top tier city for green building by incorporating common-sense building practices into our baseline building code for commercial buildings and residential buildings over three stories high.

Please support a Sustainable Building Ordinance that will require green building for all projects that are covered by the ordinance and does not delay implementation beyond 2012.

Thank you for your support on this very important issue,
