These trees have stood for hundreds of years

Some trees in our National Forests have stood for hundreds of years.

We can't let Bush-era holdovers in the U.S. Forest Service take them down. Join us in standing up for America's last wild forests.

Tell Secretary Tom Vilsack to declare roadless areas within our national forests off-limits to industry.

The Honorable Tom Vilsack, Secretary, U.S. Department of Agriculture:

I urge you to put a halt to Bush-era plans to allow the timber, mining, coal and oil industries into our pristine national forests.

I support full restoration of Clinton-era protections to nearly 60 million acres of roadless national forests under the Roadless Area Conservation Rule. Yet as current U.S. Forest Service officials move ahead with Bush-era plans to allow logging, mining and drilling in forests in Alaska, Colorado, Idaho and Oregon, I urge you to take immediate action to stop the destruction before it's too late.

Sincerely,
