The Chattahoochee National Forest is one of the most popular places Georgians visit to hike, camp, fish or just relax. It is home to headwaters of the Chattahoochee River, which provides clean drinking water for millions of Georgians.

Unfortunately, the Forest Service repealed protections from logging and mining for more than 63,000 acres of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Unless Gov. Perdue petitions the Forest Service to reinstate these safeguards, the beauty of these forests could be lost to future generations. Ask Gov. Perdue to petition the Forest Service to protect the Chattahoochee National Forest.
