Clean Energy for Georgia

We could meet Georgia's growing energy needs with greater efficiency and renewable power. Despite the environmental and economic benefits that more clean power would bring to our state 10 electric co-ops have announced plans for a new coal plant near Macon.

The Environmental Protection Division (EPD) will ultimately have the power to approve or deny this coal plant. You can sign on to our petition to EPD's director Dr. Carol Couch below. Then ask you family and friends to do the same.
